Life is Changing

Life is Changing
By Lou Wilkinson

Life is changing; rearranging.
News brings cataclysmic aging;
Tremors driving, fear is thriving,
Memories fading - reaching, dying.

Friendships questionned, loved ones tested.
Seeking truths and never rested.
Old wounds healed while others festered,
Some are lost and never quested.

Eyes that watch, that judge too soon,
Quivering lips recite a tune,
Body's shaking much too soon,
Dancing dances, before noon.

Soul survives, the limits drawn,
Finding faith to right the wrong.
Each new day that presses on,
Silently waits and then is gone.

Veil that drops and never rises,
Life so seldom brings surprises.
Peace that quietly surmises,
Sleep - the final answer rises.

Loved ones feelings are still fresh,
Suffering ended, gone the flesh
Time replaces, left to mesh
The empty void that's always left.

**This is one of my favorite poem and is too close to my heart !
